Sparks Industrial Park

This modern Industrial Park was developed in 2012-2013 and comprises 44 warehouses with internal areas ranging from 127 sqm to 179 sqm.  Each warehouse has its own car park and dual entry including glass doors for maximum natural light and industrial roller door.  The park has security entry, central driveway and dual entry/exit for easy accessibility.

Regal Seafoods

A 6 warehouse development and cafe in Derrimut this included a new onsite substation and all associated civil and underground works, separate metering for each warehouse, all light and power and 3 phase power for machinery.   Each warehouse had a mezzanine office space and amenities on ground and mezzanine level.

Minaret College

Development of the new science wing at Minaret College, this included new mains and civil works, lighting control, emergency and exits and emergence stop switching for the science labs.

Kearney West Extension, St Kevins College, Toorak

The development of the new 4 storey science block extension, this architect designed building housed the new workshops, chemistry and biology labs and study rooms.  The complex build with exposed features and exacting technical finish presented a challenging build for all trades.  Lifts, extraction equipment, hoppers, 3 phase machinery, emergency shutoff for gas and electricity, extruded linear lighting and a fully automated lighting control system based on movement and light level sensors resulted in a state of the art facility for the prestigous school.   The development also included solar panels, a new data centre, AV throughout the building, fire services, security and projection systems in each laboratory.

Sherbrooke Family and Childrens Centre, Upwey

This was a five building development including a community hall, child care centre, pre-school, administration building and family centre.  An extensive part of the works was landscape lighting and major carpark lighting.  The buildings were all joined with a fibre optic backbone.

The Turkish Consulate, Toorak

The development of a consular building in Toorak, Melbourne.

Werribee Primary School, Werribee
The development of a new gymnasium and basketball court.

Westgate Aged Care Facility, Newport

Westgate Aged Care was a new extension to an existing aged care facility.  The extension over two stories included 33 new aged care bedsits common rooms and nurses stations.  Integral to the system was extension to existing phone and PA systems, nurse call and intercom systems.

Private Residence, Melbourne

The complete renovation of an established residence.

Keilor Downs Primary School, Keilor Downs

This development was a school hall addition, involving light, power and emergency services

Visy Park, Carlton

The development of the umpires rooms at Visy Park Stadium.

Copperfield College, Delahey

This project involved the development of a fully functioning automotive practical facility with a range of hoists and direct connections to equipment.  The installation included lighting control, master kill switches for all equipment,

Melbourne International Airfreight Centre

A major new office and warehouse development near the Tullamarine airport.  Living Electrics performed the fitout of all light and power, including installation of high and low bay lighting, emergency and exit lights, fluorescent lighting throughout the offices.  Power included the installation of 3 phase mains and switchboards, including check meter to enable the monitoring of power usage.  Data and phone cabling and the installation of a new MDF panel was also performed.

The Royal Society of Victoria

The Royal Society of Victoria is based in a heritage building in the heart of Melbourne.  The society engaged Living Electrics to install exterior High Tech LED wall washers and security lighting.  Pleased with the results, Living Electrics then installed exterior digital security cameras on the main Society Building and the care-takers cottage.

Sargent 4 wheel drive

This project involved the relocation of Sargent 4 wheel drive to expanded premises in Laverton.  The business needed to remain operational throughout the changeover, in addition to the installation of all light and power for the workshops including mains and switchboards, 4 hoists needed to be progressively disconnected and reconnected at the new premises to enable the ongoing maintenance of their vehicle fleet to continue uninterrupted.  Living Electrics liaised closely with the workshop manager to ensure that the whole project went off without a hitch and the business continued to operate uninterrupted.

Private Residence, Melbourne

This two storey residence complete with lookout tower overlooks St Vincents Park in the leafy Melbourne suburb of Albert Park.  The renovation of this property was done to the most exacting standards with an absolute premium placed on the quality of the finish.  Completed over a 6 month period Living Electrics delivered to its renowned level of quality to the great satisfaction of the owners.
